Heating/cooling set point is a frequently misunderstood concept. Chart-like indicator to elucidate the relationship between current temperature and the set point range was implemented. Users in a multi-zone environments expressed a need for a sense of context: what's going on in the big picture? This was addressed this by displaying a configurable household map with a "you are here" map marker. Visual style elements, such as color and typeface, were chosen to give the app a simple, “homey” and familiar feel. 

Visual feedback in the form of a "in progress"-style animation paired with a conversational-style message makes the system actions transparent.
